Riveiro Makes Latest Transfer ‘Request’

Al Ahly coach Jose Riveiro has reportedly revealed to the club management that he wants to sign three new players to bolster the team's defence.

Jose Riveiro's first assignment as Al Ahly boss was to take charge of the club's FIFA Club World Cup campaign. The tournament did not go quite as Riveiro or club officials hoped as the side were eliminated in the group stage after just two draws and a defeat.

The Red Giant now head to a well-deserved break before meeting again for pre-season in Mid-July, which will reportedly take place in Spain.

While the players enjoy their break, Riveiro continues to work behind the scenes to get his team prepared for the next campaign. According to Ahly News, the Spaniard reportedly requested defensive reinforcements for next season.

"Spanish coach José Riveiro asked [club president] Mahmoud El Khatib to strengthen the defensive line,” journalist Ahmed Shobeir said.

He added. "He emphasized Al Ahly’s defence needs bolstering following errors at the Club World Cup, referring to it as “Ah minh Yani” (that’s how it is)."

The former Orlando Pirates boss emphasised the need to sign three new defenders.

"Riveiro officially asked for three new signings: a right-back, a centre-back, and a left-back," Shobeir said.

"Chairman Mahmoud El Khatib has strongly supported both Sports Director Mohamed Youssef and coach Riveiro, expressing confidence in their ability to deliver a historic season," he added.

Chiefs Target Shinga's Price & Contract Details

Kaizer Chiefs are believed to be on the verge of signing a Portugal-based defender, and the Siya crew provides the latest on the situation.

The two parties are understood to have reached an agreement, and the player's European experience is believed to be one of the main factors in the move.

As previously reported by Soccer Laduma, Amakhosi are interested in FC Alverca defender Nkanyiso Shinga who they have been following for some time now.

A transfer specialist with knowledge of European markets has discussed what the contract could be between Chiefs and the player. The insider also discussed the price Amakhosi are expected to have to pay for Shinga.

"Shinga has been offered a three-year contract and apparently all the personal terms are believed to have been agreed upon and the player is happy to leave Portugal and join Amakhosi. Chiefs are going to pay a transfer fee of around R4.5 million which is believed to be very fair considering that his club just got promoted in Portugal and considering his age as well. So, for now, that's the position and the player is currently in South Africa. The club also believes that they have looked at the experience of Shinga who has been playing in Portugal for over five years to help in their CAF Confederation Cup campaign. They believe he is better positioned than the other left backs because of his experience," the insider told Soccer Laduma.

Meanwhile, a second insider with knowledge of Chiefs' negotiations provides more detail on the length of the potential contract.

"Yes, it's a three-year contract but it has a one-year option on it. That means his could stay at the club until June 2029. You know Thabo Cele is believed to also have played a part in convincing Nkanyiso (Shinga) to come and join Chiefs as they know each other from KZN even before they left for Portugal," the second insider told the Siya crew.

Soccer Laduma contacted Chiefs for comment on the status of the signing but there was no response at the time of publishing this story.

Shinga is expected to be one of the few players who are set to be announced by the club before they leave for the Netherlands for their pre-season training camp.

How To Apply For Teaching Assistant Jobs

The Department of Basic Education recently conducted a hiring spree, hiring young, unemployed, and qualified people to become education and school assistants(Teaching assistant jobs). The process resulted in nearly 300,000 unemployed youth finding lucrative work at government schools.

Who Can Apply For a Teaching Assistant Job?

The purpose of the Department of Teaching’s assistant job drive is to hire unemployed youth. For this reason, only those between 18 and 35 years of age can apply. Furthermore, applicants will have to have a National Senior Certificate (Matric) and not be receiving any government grant or assistance or in university, college, or currently receiving other training.

If you meet these criteria and are placed at a school, you will be required to provide additional information to substantiate your qualifications and prove that you are a good candidate for the job. Then, once that information is received, you’ll be employed by the school for five months, where you’ll have the opportunity to receive training that can lead to opportunities in the future.

What Areas Can You Expect to Receive Training On?

While you’re in the five-month program, you will be assigned a position where you’ll receive training on. These are the available positions according to the DBE:

ICT Support

Your responsibilities may include troubleshooting IT issues and uploading educational content on learners’ and teachers’ devices, among other IT-related duties.

Child and Youth Care Work

If you’re hired as a child and youth care worker, your function will be to provide psychosocial support to learners.

Reading Champions

Your job as a reading champion is to improve reading and literacy rates among learners.

Infrastructure Maintenance

Those employed in infrastructure maintenance will become handymen at schools and be provided with training to ensure they provide good quality work.

Sports and Enrichment Agents

Your job will be to assist schools with sports and cultural activities. You will have to be fit and interested in sports.

Step by Step Guide to Apply for Teaching Assistant Jobs

If you meet the necessary criteria, you will only be able to apply online for a job as no walk-in applications will be processed.

From there, the system will connect you to a school that needs a teaching assistant job.

Besides, because the government plans to make this an annual opportunity, you can follow the three steps outlined below for any future phases for education assistant applications.

Step 1: Visit SAYouth.mobi

To get access to the teaching assistant jobs, you will need to visit SAYouth.mobi as it forms part of the Presidential Youth Employment Initiative to enable the youth to find jobs.

The website is free to access from Rain, Vodacom, Cell C, MTN, and Telkom, which means you don’t need data to apply.

Step 2: Register For An Account

If you have never registered for SAYouth before, you will need to register for an account.

Fill in your ID number, name, surname, and cell phone number. You can also fill in your Whatsapp number and email address if you have one.

Then you’ll be asked a series of questions that shouldn’t take more than five minutes to complete. Answering these questions honestly is critical as they will determine the opportunities you have access to and where those opportunities are located.

Step 3: Apply for Available Jobs

When you’re on the website, you will be redirected to the opportunities that match your profile. This will include the teaching Assistant and General Assistant jobs but can also include other opportunities. You can start applying for these jobs or improve your profile by uploading a CV or adding other qualifications to your profile.

What Happens if You Are Shortlisted for a Teaching Assistant Job?

Once you’ve applied for the Teaching Assistant Job, the Department of Education encourages you to keep your phone with you until the process is over. The reason for this is that you may receive an SMS notifying you that you have been shortlisted.

And if you are shortlisted, you have a short window to provide supporting documents to ensure that you get the job. So, if you get an SMS or phone call that you have been shortlisted, be sure you send through the following supporting documents.

Upload Your CV

To ensure you have the skills necessary to work in one of the available roles, the DBE requires that you provide a CV. If you don’t have much work experience, your CV can include sections detailing your core competencies, systems you’re familiar with, and soft skills like being self-motivated, hard-working, willing to learn, etc.

Provide Written Testimonials

The Department of Basic Education also requires that candidates provide testimonials (references) from reputable sources. This testimonial could be a letter of recommendation from a former school teacher or principal, a church leader or a chief.

Submit a Police Clearance Certificate

It’s integral that you submit a police clearance certificate to secure the job, as the Department wants to ensure that candidates don’t pose a threat to the school or learners.

To get a Police Clearance Certificate, you will need to visit your local SAPS, get your fingerprints taken and complete an application form. You will also need to pay a R150 fee. From there, your application form will be sent to the SAPS headquarters in Pretoria, and your Police Clearance Certificate will be mailed to the SAPS where you applied.

Get an Affidavit to Show You Don’t Have A Criminal Record

It can take a few weeks to get a police clearance certificate, so while you wait to receive it, visit your local police station and request an affidavit stating you don’t have a criminal record. To expedite the process, you can request an affidavit while you’re getting your fingerprints taken for the PCC. The Department of Basic Education should accept the affidavit, but you can explain that it would take you a few weeks to get the PCC, which is why you are submitting an affidavit as a placeholder.

Submit a Certified Copy of your Matric Certificate and ID

The final documents you need to submit are certified copies of your matric certificate and ID.

After you have submitted these documents, you may be contacted for an in-person – or telephonic – interview. The purpose of these interviews is to ensure you’re a good fit for the school.

Can I Choose The School I Apply To?

To ensure every applicant has the opportunity to work in their community, the school you are shortlisted to will be based on your location and skills. This means you’re unable to select the school where you want to work. Instead, the DBE will find schools that require your skills.

Tso – What I Told Mdu Before Superb NBC Performance

Former Orlando Pirates midfielder Benedict ‘Tso’ Vilakazi has revealed what he told Kaizer Chiefs starlet Mduduzi Shabalala before his Nedbank Cup final performance, saying he’s happy with how things turned out in the game.

Shabalala came off the bench as Gaston Sirino’s replacement in Chiefs 2-1 win over Pirates in the final on Saturday.

His impact was immediate as a few minutes of him being on the field he started the movement that led to Yusuf Maart’s match and title winning goal.

Tso says he was frank with the 21-year-old a few days before the final that he needs to be himself and dig deep to contribute positively to his side

“I just said to him ‘boy, you just need to be yourself in the game and do what you can do best. I know it’s hard’,” said Tso on IDiski TV.

“‘Sometimes you find that you want to try something but it’s not working but what’s important is that you as an individual contribute even if you don’t have assistance but come with a plan because at the end of the day when you’ve got the ball the decision comes from you’.

“He said ‘grootman, it’s hard because sometimes you need assistance and you don’t get it’. Then I said unfortunately as a professional player when you are in that position you need to dig, show what you are capable of show us. I mean we can see that the boy is trying but he doesn’t have support but if you are not even trying you are as good as dead.

“Well done boy and this is what we want to see from you, to say yes there’s no movement but you tried something. I thought they had lost that action when he turned back but it happened that the ball went to [Ashley] Du Preez and Du Preez kept it alive and to the captain”.

Ngobeni: Pirates Made Me Feel You're Not Meant To Be There

After Patrick Maswanganyi had a mysterious disappearance from the Orlando Pirates squad late last year, former midfielder Clifford Ngobeni has revealed how the club has a bad history of protecting 'bad boys', even to the harm of other players.

It became a big topic of discussion in the football circles in December last year, after Maswanganyi missed back-to-back CAF Champions League matches against Al Ahly and Stade d'Abidjan, with no concrete reasons given.

Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro was at pains to explain why 'Tito' was not in the matchday squad, refusing to go into detail about a mysterious 'health' issue, opening room for the doubts that he was making up stories to cover up for the 27-year-old.

The incident was at the same time Monnapule Saleng also disappeared from the squad, where allegations emerged that the duo were not in the squad for disciplinary reasons.

Ngobeni, who joined The Buccaneers as one of the best midfielders in the country from Cape Town Spurs (formerly Ajax Cape Town) in 2010, has revealed how he was sidelined in favor of 'bad boys' in a team he competed with Andile Jali and Oupa Manyisa.

"In South Africa when you're a nice person they think you're a fool, they take you for granted. Bad boys in SA make it far. Pirates made me feel, no matter your discipline, humbleness, if you're not meant to be there, you're not meant to be there," Ngobeni said on Trap and Pass YouTube Channel.

"Competition, I was playing, it was me and Jali, (Isaac) Chansa was playing ahead as a ten, Oupa Manyisa (also) came up, that's when things started to be (shaky). As a footballer, it's fine to be sidelined but when you get another opportunity and get man of the match.

"And the next game you don't even play, you ask yourself (what happened?) and me where I come from we believe in merit. You play well, you play (the next game). I came to Pirates and things were completely different, different culture," Ngobeni alleged.

Pirates only won the double treble in the 2010/11 and 2011/12 seasons after Ngobeni had already left, with Jali and Manyisa combination arguably the best in the country at the time.

Why Chiefs Don't Need Marquee Signings Revealed?

Kaizer Chiefs are expected to spend big on players to compete with rivals Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates but former midfielder Keagan Dolly has hinted where the value is in recruitment.

Over the past decade, Chiefs have been bringing different personnel, with huge transfer fees, in the name of rebuilding but they have been getting the same results, of inconsistency and average performances.

Amakhosi were hopeful that their team could finally click with rated coach such as Nasreddine Nabi but the players have struggled to gel together.

What normally brings the team into form is a combination of certain players, whose telepathy drives the squad to be in the same rhythm.

Sundowns usually have this important element, even going back to the 'CBD' days ten years ago, where the combination of Leonardo Castro, Khama Billiat and Dolly inspired Masandawana to their first CAF Champions League crown, among other major honours.

After the former Montpellier midfielder reunited with Billiat and Castro to a limited influence at Chiefs a few seasons ago, he has revealed why his combination, particularly with the Zimbabwean did not need coaching.

"At Ajax, Man United came down for pre-season, I was in the team, they brought the likes of Paul Scholes, Rio (Ferdinand), a few of their big name players and a few of their youngsters, Jesse Lingard was coming through," Dolly said in an interview on The All Rounder SA podcast.

"I was sitting in the dressing room thinking about my first game against United, I had a decent game, that paved the way for me at Ajax, that's the year I met Khama Billiat, the partnership started there.

"I just understood the way he plays, the way he makes his runs, we connected since then, from there I didn't look back. At first we weren't really friends but on the field we understood each other. He makes it so easy, even if it's a bad pass from you, his first touch is amazing. He might look small in stature but he's very strong, he doesn't lose balls easily. He makes you look good," the Westbury native midfielder added.

The last time Chiefs had an effective and winning team, they did not have to spend much but the scouting of unknown talent such as Knowledge Musona, Simphiwe Tshabalala (signed from a National First Division side) and belief in youngsters such as George Lebese, Mandla Masango, Itumeleng Khune, to mention a few was enough to carry them.

Even though Amakhosi appear to be in need of a personnel upgrade, scouting the right quality players would still be the deciding factor, not necessary the so-called marquee signings.

Nabi On Team’s Criticism From Chiefs Fans

Nabi On Team’s Criticism From Chiefs Fans

Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi has called on the Khosi faithful to play their role in upliftment following criticism on Thabo Cele’s substitution as well as captain Yusuf Maart constantly getting the stick.

Chiefs’ technical team and Maart have received so much criticism from the supporters throughout the season, some even questioning Maart’s leadership skills as the club captain and others even doubting Nabi’s coaching abilities.

In the Nedbank Cup final against Pirates, Chiefs supporters showed signs of not being happy when Thabo Cele was taken off for Sibongiseni Mthethwa.

Nabi addressed that the supporters should support them even in difficult times, also emphasizing the importance of Maart in the team.

“It’s true that the fans get too emotional and because they wanted it so bad to win the cup, sometimes their reaction is emotional,” Nabi said after their Ke Yona Cup triumph.

“We noticed when we subbed off Thabo Cele, they were not very happy, but we knew what we were doing.

“And on the other hand, Yusuf Maart has been suffering a lot, by being unfairly attacked and we see his contributions, his captaincy comes under question, but we saw what he contributes, we need the fans in our worst moments to lift us up…”

Benefits of Fasting

My food contains glucose, the fuel that feeds the trillions of healthy cells in my body. But that glucose also feeds something else, zombie cells, old damaged cells that have lingered beyond their useful life. By spewing toxic sludge, these zombies infect other healthy cells, speeding up the aging process, everything from hair loss and wrinkles to the onset of arthritis, cancer, and dementia. But what scientists have realized is that when we fast and cut off the supply of glucose, that zombie army is starved of energy, which saps them of their power. When food is plentiful, our body stores excess energy in the form of fat under the skin and around the internal organs.

When food is scarce, that fat is sent to the liver where it's turned into an alternative fuel source called a ketone. And as these ketones which provide the emergency power source, not only for our bodies, but also our brains.

JOE BIDEN LIKELY HAS ONLY DAYS LEFT TO LIVE

2 weeks ago I reported that they were planning to kill him and make it look like natural causes. THE STAGE IS BEING SET FOR THAT NOW!

The President is currently in significantly worse condition than is being disclosed publicly (Per Laura Loomer) and has canceled 9 trips scheduled over the next two weeks.

‼️PREPARE FOR PHASE 2‼️ Kamala Harris is behind Trump in the polls right now. However, if they can install her in the Oval Office before November, they believe she will win as a sitting President. Then it’s time for the final blow! A law allowing illegal immigrants to vote will be passed… making it impossible for any other party to win again for decades. An era of communism and corrupt one-party control like never seen before will grip the United States. Millions more third-world immigrants will flood the country, making it look a lot more like Africa than the country we grew up in.

Unfortunately for Joe, there is no guarantee what they are about to do to him will be quick, or even painless.

3 options are being considered:

1- Inject him with poison that makes it look like a heart attack. He will suffer a quick death in this scenario, but it will be excruciatingly painful.

2- Infect him with a lab-engineered virus that has a near 100% fatality rate and blame it on Covid. This approach is by far the most brutal, as he will struggle for an extended time while experiencing an extremely uncomfortable death.

3- Suffocation using a medical device, such as a breathing tube. This is highly deceptive as it can appear indistinguishable from dying due to old age. A truly terrifying way to go!

Google searches for “Is Joe Biden Dead” are spiking because people are starting to catch on to what is really happening.

50 years of loyalty to a party… only to be discarded in a ditch like trash. Do not underestimate how desperate and evil these psychopaths really are!

Amapiano stars Kabza De Small and Kelvin Momo in legal battle over contract dispute

Kabza De Small and Kelvin Momo, have found themselves entangled in a legal battle over contract disputes that have rocked the industry. The escalating conflict has not only put a strain on their professional relationship but has also cast a shadow over their once-close personal friendship.

The discord between the two musical heavyweights arose from a contract disagreement between Kelvin Momo and Kabza De Small's record label, PianoHub. Momo, who was signed under PianoHub, alleges that the label failed to uphold their contractual obligations, including the timely payment of royalties every six months and effective promotion of his music.

According to reports, Momo claims that Kabza's company did not fulfill its promises regarding the promotion of his 2020 project, "Momo's Private School," and the securing of endorsements. Additionally, Momo asserts that Kabza De Small's team neglected to inform distributors and publishers that their contractual agreement had ended, leading to payment discrepancies that allegedly benefitted the label over the artist.

The dissatisfaction with these alleged breaches prompted Kelvin Momo to take significant legal action by filing a lawsuit in the Johannesburg High Court. In his legal filing, Momo is demanding a substantial R1 million in compensation for unpaid royalties and the failure of PianoHub to meet its contractual obligations. This move signifies a decisive step by Momo to address the unresolved contract disputes and seek redress for what he perceives as injustices.

No more goodie bags and other niceties as new DA KZN Public Works and Infrastructure MEC cuts costs.

The DA in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) welcomes the decision by newly appointed Public Works and Infrastructure (PW&I) MEC Martin Meyer to reduce unnecessary expenditure on niceties - including goodie bags for guests and politicians, along with new banners and billboards - in the run up to the province’s budget process.

The announcement, in the form of a departmental circular issued late last week, is in line with KZN Premier, Thami Ntuli’s call to ensure that every Rand is spent on the people of our province.

MEC Meyer’s courageous decision shows a firm commitment to this while also acknowledging the severe strain that the provincial budget is currently under.

Seemingly simple things, such as not printing glossy PW&I budget pamphlets, using existing promotional materials - as opposed to procuring new ones - and eliminating budget day goodie bags for guests and politicians all mean more money can be spent where it matters.

The MEC has further announced that there will be no new diaries with his image on them, no new framed photographs of him in every KZN PW&I office and definitely no new billboards with his image as they do not speak to the department’s mandate.

The move sends a clear message that MEC Meyer is serious about ensuring that public funds are used to improve the lives of KZN’s people.

The MEC has committed to turning around his department and making it an example of good governance. He has further committed to ensuring that the needs of KZN’s residents are placed at the forefront of all decisions taken by this office.

The DA will continue to offer alternatives and positive solutions to the challenges we may encounter, allowing us to showcase our track record of good governance. We have one goal - to build a better KZN, for all.
